It was great to see our mums, dads and
grandparents enjoy our Christmas open morning. We started by getting
dressed into our costumes for our Christmas play. Thank you mums and
dads for helping us.
Because we were the last class to share
our Christmas play we began the activities. We decorated Christmas
snowmen biscuits and made snowmen cakes using icing and marshmallows.
As usual the best part of these activities was the food tasting and
we all agreed they were delicious.
We also made Christmas pictures and
cards for our friends. Very soon it was time for us to share our
Christmas celebration. It soon became obvious that not only had the
children [and parents] spent a long time learning words and sorting
out costumes but they spoke, sang and played their bells brilliantly.
Best of all the children showed how talented they were and also how
much they enjoyed performing for everyone. Well done to all of you. It was a real celebration of Christmas.
